Where to start on a D16 Turbo Build?

Where to start on a D16 Turbo Build?
I figured my heads about to go out and I was gonna rebuild the head but thought why not build my motor so I could turbo it, and make sure I don't get stuck out in the middle of nowhere, so reliable

personally me i like little d series but everyones gonna tell you to go b series but if your mind is dead set on building a d series then do it. i would put forged internals on the bottom end and then supertech valve springs and retainers. and most def. get a TUNE
