Default 205/50/15 road tyre vs 195/50/15 semi

Hi Guys,

im currently running 195/55/15 tyre's and suffer for traction, what would give me better traction from the above,

btw its for a boosted b1750 making about 280whp

What kind of tires are you running now?

Better tire compound will increase the traction,
not that much a wider tire.

I would highly recommend Dunlop Star Spec Z1.
I run on 205/50/15 and I'm very happy.

Just make sure 205s don't rub, other wise 195 will have similar traction.

im running goodyear eagle's and also tried falken's

ive opted for the 195/50/15 semi's

I think it's time to try Dunlop Sport Z1 Star Spec or Bridgestone Potenza RE-11,
if you can afford it.
Dunlops are cheaper and have awesome traction, so I'd say the best bang for the buck!
They are excellent summer tire for dry or wet asphalt and concrete.
