the thing you want to remove is what keeps it in the car. It's called a top mount/top hat.


I don't think any one has ever asked that question here before.

thats actually not the top mount. There is no bolts on it.

The arrow appears to be pointing to the top mount.

Draw a arrow pointing towards the top mount, but your not talking about the top mount?

That would be an isolator. It installs directly UNDER the top perch/hat which is why it has no bolts.

Yeah. Take it out. Tell us how it turns out.

And his first post also had an arrow pointing to the top mount but it was on a full bodied coilover.
