07 Civic Si Sedan Project
Wazzzuppp! I picked up an 07 Civic Si Sedan not too long ago, gonna see what I can do to this bad boy.
The car came clean title at 55K miles, but it has some problems. Scratches and dings and a couple dents in the body, along with some other minor problems. Some of the bushings are out and it has a bent shock (front passenger side).
This is gonna be a budget build initially but it'll be ongoing and I'll log my progress on this thread. Hoping to end up with a bad *** head-turning whip within the next year or so.
I'm gonna start off small and end up doing bigger things as I go along.
Here's my checklist of what I'm gonna do to this car:
- Tint - Done
- Wheels - Done
- Vogtland Lowering Springs - Done
- Skunk2 Shocks (for now)
- Megan Lower Rear + Front Tie Bars - Done
- Rear Strut Tower Bar (any suggestions?)
- Front Strut Tower Bar
- Sway bars
- Powder Coat Wheels (white) - Done
- Low Pro Tires
- Bodywork (rear quarter dent on driver's side)
- Inner Car Detailing
- Buff Car
- Brake Calipers (brembo?)
- Camber Kit (front / back)
- 2009 Civic Front End (initially)
- Type R Front End (later down the line)
- NRG Blue Extended Lugs
- Greddy 4G Weighted Shiftknob
- Master bushing kit (anyone know of any?)
- Second round of body work
ENGINE WORK
- Intake Manifold
- Throttle Body
- Valves
- Pistons
- Rods
- Cams
- Tubro Kit (already purchased)
- Cold Air Intake
- Exhaust
- etc
And...on to the pictures...

I already got it lowered on no name springs (D-Specs)...

The car is all stock, can't wait to hook it up!!!

Night shot...got the windows tinted already...

Damage on the driver side rear quarter panel...

Just took the car into the body shop to get that rear quarter panel fixed. It's eating me alive! There's also some scrapes on the driver side rear door that are gonna get fixed up as well. Should have the car back in two or three days.

Some 8K HIDs...

A friend of mine gave me these 18" G-Max brand meshies...I don't like the color, so I took them to the shop to get them powder coated white:

NRG extended blue lugs to go with the white wheels...haven't tried these lugs before, I'm assuming the paint will chip easily based on some of the floor model lugs I saw at the shop. Does anyone else have experience with these specific lugs?

Some more goods came in:
Megan front and rear lower tie bars:

Vogtland lowering springs came in...I'm a big fan of Vogtland. They're pretty underrated and aren't that popular in the US (it's a German company. Vogtland has a pretty big rep in Germany). The quality is amazing for the price. Super stiff ride + comfort.

Just got the rims back from the powder coat shop. They came out sick!

A before / after comparison:

Should have the car back either late today or sometime tomorrow. I'm hoping the shocks come in today, along with some other stuff. As soon as the suspension is all done, I'm gonna start on the engine...
