Default H22 swap and cruise control

For those of you that swapped their motors for H22A's.. were you able to keep your cruise control ?

Did you lose any functionality at all after the swap ?

The H22a and the f22's have it on differnt places, the accords is on the throtle body. I am unsure of where the h22a's is. I have read that you can use the accof tb and keep it or i have been told that if you buy the 97 tb for a usdm h22a that you can get it to work. I am going to find a way on mine, its handy sometimes.

Hmmn that is weird. I had a 91 Accord with a 98 JDM h22a and had everything hooked up without any problems. AC, PS, Cruise all worked and was located in stock fashion. Only thing of course is that you had to use the prelude PS line to fit..

That can't be right. My friend bought a 94 or 95 Lude VTEC a few months ago and it had cruise control. When I looked at his engine bay the only thing that was different from mine(F22B1) to his USDM H22 VTEC (not sure of engine code) was where the cruise control was placed. In the Accords there in the back against the fire wall and in the Prelude it's up by the front driver side headlight area.

That's weird. Most cruise control setups I see are connected to the throttle body with a seperate throttle cable...

weird.

I have a 94 JDM H22A in my 96 Accord EX. I was able to keep both PS & CC. I needed to get a PS hose from a Prelude to match up with the pump. As for the CC, I had to shorten the cable and change the direction of where it came from. Similar to how you have to change the throtle cable (not have it go over & around the motor like it did on the F22). Also, I can't remember, but I think I needed to use the F22's TB. The one that was on the H22 didn't have any spots for the cable. Hope this helps

The 94-97 Accord cruise hooks to the throttle body. The Ludes hook to the gas pedal. The only way it will work is to use the Accord Type-R / Euro-R throttle body. I am currently working on getting these for my own swap.

Ooops. Sorry, forget what I had said. I was thinking backwards. I was thinking about the other end of the cruise control cable, not the end that connects to the TB. Now that I think about it, I never did look to see where it connected.
