Post Mugen Spoiler Vs. Type R for EP3 (performance standpoint)

I was dead set on purchasing a Mugen style spoiler but now I am on the fence. Considering the Mugen is longer/bigger than the Type R spoiler, I am wondering which one is better for performance. I would assume the Mugen offers more downforce at speed (over 100 mph) but anything below that would the drag be considerably/significantly more than a Type R spoiler? Also the Mugen would probably add more stability to the car vs. the Type R? But then the Type R would have less drag? Between the two styles, Mugen or Type R, which one overall will best help the EP3's handling?

*Remember this isnt about which one looks better (subjective)....this is strictly about which one works better for the car either at speed (100 mph+) or during cruising (65-80 mph).

Not sure but isnt the Mugen one adjustable? Maybe adjustable would have its advantages

Just go with whatever you like best looks wise. Unless you're doing road racing, the amount of downforce you have is not going to matter.

also choose the one that looks best to you. Don't have others decide for you just do what you feel looks best. I am purchasing the Mugen for my EP3, its adjustable and you dont see many people with it. Do what you want.

He's not really asking which looks better though. He's asking which of them would actually perform well (if it does).

Thanks for the input guys. Decided on the Buddy Club spoiler. (replica since real wont fit USDM EP3s)
