i bought a used H22A4 engine from somebody, guy had it on his 95 Honda civic, i research where the crank sensor is suppose to be bolt on and im lookin at this engine and it looks like different

i have a 99 honda prelude OBD2 so i need that crank sensor hook up

MMMAAANNNN it looks like i have to change the cover, jus found that out

 

that looks like an obd1 oil pump to me..

 

yea somebody jus told me that, i have to change it

 

i plan on gettin a obd2 oil pump assy, would that be a correct change on the same engine? will everything jus bolt righ in place?

 

afaik its the same pump except the mount spot for the sensors.

 

o ok good to know, have to ever changed it while the engine is in the car? cuz man i really dont wanna pull the engine out again lol
