B18A1 swap for H23A1
hey whats up guys my 93 integra blew a rod or a bearing and i found a H23A1. what i need to know is what all i need to do the swap if the tranny is swapable and the wireing harness is the same. just what would i need to do the swap if its gonna be worth it or not, if i gotta change a bunch of **** then it's not gonna be worth it. let me know what you guys think need to know soon before i get it. ovesly its a 2.3 right i have a 1.8 so hope theres not to much to change.
You are way in over your head.
H2B conversions are a ****ing nightmare, stay away. buy an ls motor for 100$ and be glad you didn't attempt it.
Sure, h23 might be cheap, but the tranny mountin kit is over 900$. WALK AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Id say the easiest would be another b18b1/b18a1.
b16/b18c are also direct drop ins, but vtec has to be wired, and an aftermarket ECU has to be used (unless you chip yours)
If you are looking for a cheap, quick, fast fix, Id say get a b18a1/b18b1, or, if you want some more torque/power, and 2.0L, get a b20 from a CRV, its also a straight drop in :D
