Y1 LSD- what is it?

Torsen/Helical gear type torque biasing LSD
The early types (in the cable B16A transmissions) are known to have a tendency
to break, due to the nature of the design
Viscous type LSD's
Honda has optional factory viscous LSD's available in some of their
earlier cars (EF8/9).
now i have a Y1 trans with LSD. how can i ell what kind i have in there?
