I'm just being realistic. I hate front plates as much as the next guy but there is just no good reasoning behind getting rid of them.

I suggest either drive around without one and pay the price of the tickets or just slap it on.

yeah i agree. i drive around with relocated license plate because it's just one more thing they can pull you over for and harass you about. $350 for no license plate or $124 for improper license placement. not worth it in my opinion.

 

Too bad this couldn't pass Haha. Sure would be nice.

 

ill rock a plate on a beater. but never on a project. **** i was pulled over like 4+ times in my 97R...
Everett: "is your vanity worth $124 ticket?"..... "uhh, im DD'ing a 97R..."

So u can get a ticket for sidemounted plate? O_o

 

EVO's come stock with plates mounted on the sides...

 

and some vette's don't have front plates but that doesn't mean we can do it on a riced out honda and get away with it...

 

Plates get in the way of FMIC setups! I have a buddy who shaved his down to a small rectangle of aluminum with only the 6 letters. I doubt thats legal. yet to get pulled over and drives a brightly painted high profile high boost non-honda car.

I'd support this for tech reasons afforementioned.

 

Aside from the fact the only "good" reason for them is for the state to make a few bucks off of enthusiasts. Wa is one of a whopping 6 states (soon to be 4) that still require a front plate. Truthfully it costs more to make the front plate than the money they make on ticketing nfp drivers, but they continue to say it improves safety and all that other bs!! I <3 wa but F*** front plate laws, they are stupid and make no sense these days imho

 

 

Front plate is pointless and looks horrible on most cars.
