Hey everyone I have a 89 crx with a 91 b18 non vtec. I was helping a friend the other day and he killed my car. He has a suburban and needed a jumpstart and I was the only one available to help a homie out. Went out to his pad and hooked up to his truck and let my car charge it for five minutes then had him start it no problem.
I turned my car off but left it on the ON position to listen to the radio while we worked on his truck. As I got out to disconnect the cables his truck shut off and before I could say anything he tried to start it again. Next thing I know I hear my radar detector doing its startup beep and my alarm light was burning steady.
I got in my car and used the kill button to turn off the alarm went to start it and it just cranks and cranks but wont start.
I put a new battery in since I got one from my job. I pulled the dz apart and checked it rotates I pulled the plug wire and checked for spark and im getting spark. fuel pump is engaging and im getting fuel to the engine and filter. pulled back the carpet and checked the ecu and its not throwing any codes. checked my fuses and relays and all look good except the battery fuse is blackened but not broke and I still get power to everything.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I need my car to get to work tomorrow. Thanks

 

idk if you got it running but change the battery fuse anyways and double check the altenater
