90 Accord LX not starting please help
ok so my accord had the idle from hell so i did some research and found out somethings i could do to possibly fix it i cleaned out the IACV and opened the FITV to tighten the yellow piece down. After that i replaced the PCV valve, i turned on the car and it seemed to do the trick the idle stopped fluctuating up and down so i went for a 5 minute drive when i got back home i turned off the car and waited about 15 mins i went to turn it back on and it's not turning on i mean it cranks but is not turning on im not sure what it can be a couple things wrong with this car that im aware of is the battery is too big and there are a couple vacuum lines unhooked other than that it was working fine can anyone help? ill include a couple pics so you all can see the vacuum lines that are unhooked

The two disconnected lines are for the stock intake and are not causing the engine not to start. It would be really good to get that forward one (the crankcase breather) into the intake, though - with it plugged you an expect oil to be forced out of the engine by crankcase pressure build-up. The PCV valve is not open at idle or full throttle.
Anyway, at this time starter fluid is useful. If the engine doesn't run on the starter fluid the ignition is top of the list (especially the igniter). If it burns off the starter fluid fuel delivery is the only problem. If the main relay - under the dash, way at the top, above the driver's legs - is the original you may want to replace it on general principles. If you don't hear three clicks from it when you turn the ignition on you can replace it as a prime suspect.
The engine compartment looks clean so I assume the timing belt has been changed on schedule. Finally, when checking the ignition always give the spark a place to go. The coil can be shorted in seconds if the spark has to jump inside the coil.

Roger,
The starting fluid needs to get into the cylinder to fire. You can spray it on the air filter or pull the filter off; and spray it in the hose that goes to the throttle body for a better delivery. I would take the time to remove the filter, since that element looks to be paper.
Care to share with the rest of the class where you got that and whom the manufacturer is? Did it come with that hard tube or is that personal engineering?
