Common problem on my EK:



I figured out how to depin the plug to fix it correctly, but I can't find a pinout for the wiring diagram anywhere. 96 EX coupe.

Couldn't find anything on a search or in the shop manual.

I know this thread is old, but the pinout diagram still makes it very useful (to me and likely others sooner or later).

Any chance anyone knows what style of replacement pins one would need to repin this plug with new connections? I have to go back into my door connector to repair again (used a pigtail from a salage yard civic years ago) after body shop messed up my previous work apparently and i might want or need to use some new pins..

ive repinned other connectors in my civic but its been a minute...

RON J, Iknow this was an older post but do you have a similar diagram for a 96 civic lx. I tried this diagram but the wire color doesn't seem to match up with whats there. Also any info on removing the old pins from the connecter would be very helpful. Thanks

 

The diagram should be a perfect fit for the 96 LX. Point out discrepancies.

 

RonJ, someone had to have removed, replaced some of these in the wrong spots. My body harness was tampered with but after removing the inner door plug as well as the passenger side door, I found wires that matched the info posted. Thank you very much

 

I got all my windows stuck up now and need to fix can some send me the layout of the door plug diagram I would greatly appreciate it
