eg upper control arms
so my left front upper ball joint snaped today. So i was pricing CA's and they are like 78 bucks a peice and i was wondering if i should just go ahead and replace both with replacement parts or another choice get after market ones what do you all think jw ?
I would replace both, along with other suspension related things.
if the ball joint snapped, it's a good time to overhall it.
OEM or MOOG only.
upper control arms, lower ball joints, tie rods, bushings. Inspect, replace as needed.

it depends, but for quality reasons, you can't really beat those I said.
If he speaking of an a OEM replacement, stick with OEM or Moog.
Check at rockauto.com, majestichonda.com, and hondapartsunlimited.com. You can find pretty cheap stuff there.

I replaced all my suspension (inner/outer tie rods, upper/lower ball joints) from Autozone. I don't know about spending the extra money on OEM because Duralast comes with the lifetime warranty. Especially if your car is lowered and you smash turns/drive rough it will put more stress on the suspension. I like the piece of mind that i can replace them at any time for free.

There are so many things that can void the warranty it's funny.
My friend had a rotor crack, under warranty. Company said they wont help him becuase he didn't have a pro install it.
Why not buy a brand OEM/moog, that is known to be quality, and not have issues.
OEM is NOT that expensive, if you don't buy from a dealer.
$30-40 for an OEM ball joint is noithing.
I don't know about other places but Autozone is good about their warranty. I've never had any problems with them. I bought rear wheel bearing assemblies for my eg that came with a 2 year warranty. I swapped them out just for kicks before the 2 years were over no questions asked.

I remember going to autozone, 10+ times one summer getting axles for my buddys integra when snapped them at the track. Never said a word, until the manager got involved.
I think it was the 12 axle before they got smart and told him they wouldn't give him a new one. lol
All he did was went to a new autozone and bam, brand new axle.
But, either way, it's quite possible for them simply to say no.
hmm, thats good.
