okay guys, so im debating on which cluster to go with on my ek... it's between an s2k or ctr? the ctr is obviously much easier to install but the s2k is just so damn sexy.

lmk what you guys think!

 

Do whatever you want to. It's your car. You're the one that has to stare at the cluster, not us. That's what I think.

i hate the digital look to the s2k and would require some modifications to get it to look and work right. and I dont understand the fad for jdm clusters. Most of us live in the US and go by MPH. Why?

 

i gotta admit the s2k cluster looks so beautiful but if you want it to be good looking and simple to install go ctr

 

s2k cluster is awesome but your lookin at 500 to 700 bucks for it all said and done..
ctr cluster is plug and play and about 350 also looks great... if the price isnt a issue thens its what ever you like more... i myself will be looking into a s2k cluster next summer for my em1

it's not just about the money that im concerned for the s2k, but i heard it's a total b*tch to install and that it's never accurate.

"that if im thinking of going boost later down the line it's not recommended at all"

Def S2K cluster there are a few step by step threads floating around and when done right damn they look good!!!

 

If you have no clue or lack the skill to install the S2K cluster then your choice is glaringly obvious.

 

I think the s2k cluster looks horrible, not sure why people want a digital cluster

Not to mention it's probably the biggest pain in the *** of any mod I've ever seen for civics.

the s2k cluster is cool and all, but the fit and finish wont be nearly as nice as the CTR, direct replacement more or less.

 

S2k would just be a waste of time and money IMO. Money especially. If money is no object, then go for a Mugen or Spoon cluster

Otherwise, go for an SI, or a CTR cluster if you want something that will swap in easily and will look nice.
