I just bought some new headers for my 95 civic ex, they went on without a problem, but as soon as I went to bolt on the downpipe to my stock exhaust, i ran into a problem. I cant get the stock exhaust to fit perfectly on my new headers. Can some one here help me figure out what kind of exhaust I should get, or how I can fix this problem?

 

How should anyone know? What brand header is it? Is it an Ebay header? Define "perfectly" because that really doesn't tell anyone anything. Might need to post pictures.

 

It is an ebay header. I torqued the headers to the right foot-lbs to the block. Once on, the downpipe didnt line up right with the exhaust under the car. Im new to this obviously, so please bare with me.

 

What is not lining up? Bolt holes? The flanges? May have to take it to a shop.

 

is it that the downpipe is sort of bent upwards? cuz i had one that did that. Just had to wait til i got new exhaust and hi flow cat to connect it all.

 

yeah its the downpipe. mines bent down a little though. So all i need is to get a different exhaust and high flow cat?

 

That's not what he said. He said that what he had to do. Get a camera phone pic or something and post it.

 

and you only have a header not headers unless your rocking a j swap
