Default OBD1 conversion done, ecu fuse blows :/

finished the wiring today.
at first it seemed as though it wouldnt crank, then checked everything and put a ecu fuse in, and grounded my ecu.

then iturn the key to ACC and fuel pump doesnt prime, so i mess with the relay and it primes
engine continues to turn over but wont crank up.

yes i was getting fuel when the relay was working, and yes i am getting spark to all 4 plugs.

my question is what would cause the ecu fuse to keep blowing whenever it didnt do it before

you either have a short in the wiring you changed or you have a bad ecu.

honestly i forgot what ecu jumper i ended up using.
but this morning i messed with the grounds a bit.
i had 2 grounds on the thermostat, so i put on there, and one to a different bolt. and it started right up.

it has a low idle, but above 1k rpms its smooth.
i messed with the idle adjustment screw, and advanced the dizzy all the way and even replaced the IACV

i think some sensors in the dizzy were acting up. i took the cap off and looked at everything, put it back on, went to start it and no start. walked out to look an smoke coming from the dizzy.
pulled it off and a wire was pinched and grounded out.

BTW i have a MSD pro cap and external ignitor. and the two wires coming out the dizzy give the igniter power and thats what was grounded out and fried
