change the iat plug on the manifold or make sure you plugged the correct plug to the sensor.

i always got the iat and the iavc plugs mixed (idk why) and my z6 manifold i bought had the sensor all chewed up for some reason. but..that shouldnt stop the car from starting though.

care to explain the steps YOU did according to what ever write up you used?

make sure you tapped into the correct wire on the dizzy
also check for map and tps connectors being in there right order, im betting on this forsure. motor still might start but wont hold idle. flip the tps with map connectors and see what the outcome.

good luck.

if i remember correctly code 10 is Intake air temp that would not affect your car from running.
you know what and you say you have spark and fuel. so its not the dizzy wiring,

Im all in on the throttlle postion sensor and manifold app pressure connectors are backwards.

okay so that fixed the cel problem even though the tps now is too short and wont plug up.im gonna extend that today but when i tried it yesterday it still wouldnt crank, ill guess ill throw some ground on the underside of the block and hope for the best.

just for referance i did a full wire tuck while doin the mpfi swap on it thats why im soo sure my problem is definatly in wiring but i also used as litle number off grounds on the motor as possible.could this have something to do with the battery being relocated to hte hatch at the same time?

yeah, check all your grounds especially the negative terminal, make sure its in a good place in the trunk. add a ground from the trans to the chassis and see if it'll start up.

Your welcome.

What do you mean hope it cranks? To crank is for the motor to turn.
To start/run obviously the motor has to be on.

he means the motor wont crank at all. if its not cranking at all and you get a sound like a click like a dead battery its your grounds.

yes it turns over theirfore the crank rotates butit doesnt crank still.i double checked the firing order and its correct i know im getting fuel and lots of it.mabey the injector order is wrong or something.it backfired out the intake a few nights ago which is usually due to timing being waaaayyy off but its tdc on the dizzy and i even put th engine on tdc cylinder one and oulled the cao iff and the rotor was in the right spot.is anyone in the 843 florence area that could give me a hand?you know its bad when i ask for personal help. and 10psilsef2 your a ****in G!!!!

Replace the wiring and start over. You have obviously messed it up.
