This is a 98 LX if it matters.

Trying to put my intake manifold back together when I found this. The EVAP Purge Control Solenoid Valve bracket has an extra bolt and I don't know where it goes.

The intake manifold doesn't have anything there and I can't figure out what this bolt goes to.

Just trying to make sure I didn't miss anything. Thank you for any help.

 

that y7 intake manifold blows!! u should look into finding a y8 auto intake manifold( which u can still use your y7 throttle body with the 3 wire iacv. that bracket is supposed to have 2 bolts so if ones loose it doesn't swivel around. it would give u a lil upgrade with the y8 intake manifold. that evap solenoid only needs to be plugged in. the vacuum lines ran to it don't even have to be hooked up and it will no throw a code. when i go through emissions i just plug it in and throw it under the hood and remove it when im done because im running obd1 for my turbo setup. To pass emissions i have to run a obd2 ecu.

I went to look at another car and it looks like the hole is for a clip for the wire harness. Not a bolt.
