Did you buy it new or used? I think you can recalibrate those to different settings when you hook them into the computer so someone may have switched the settings on it. Oh and what year is your cluster off of?
i got everything else to work but the ECT Gauge keeps going all the way to fully hot 30sec after turning on the car was up with that? u think u can help me out?
Please refrain from typing in all caps. It is against the rules and is plain obnoxious. It makes people feel like they're being screamed at. Also please try to form more concise sentences with proper grammar. You put forth a since of entitled urgency and it's not helping your cause. I suggest you take a look over the forum rules and, I'll edit it for you this time. I also cleaned up your writing a bit for clarity. Please private message me if you have anymore questions.
Following up a suggestion from another user and based on your ECT problem I found this:

I hope it's helpful.
Edit: In about 2 minutes of google Searching I found:

Using a search like this: "site:honda-tech.com s2000 cluster" in google.

2. If you have a Civic, chances are the "Stock ECM" ECT module will work for you. From customer feedback I'd say over 95% of Civics will work without the need for custom programming. Just make sure you get the right ECT module (AP1 Stock ECM or AP2 Stock ECM) to match your cluster.
3. If you have something other than a Civic, you have a 50/50 chance of the "stock" ECT module working. You are welcome to try the stock module first but if you can make a few measurements with a multi-meter I suggest you follow this procedure to verify your car is compatible. The other advantage of making these measurements is that if your car needs a specially-programmed ECT module these tests will give us the data to do the programming.
If it turns out that even a custom-programmed ECT module will not work on your car another option is to install a stock S2000 temperature sender and ECT module to operate the temperature gauge. The wiring is relatively easy, it's finding a place to install the sensor that is more challenging, and for that part you are on your own. See here for wiring details if you decide to go this route.
AP2 clusters (S2000 years 2004 and 2005) Tach redline is at 8000 rpm

The AP2 temperature gauge has 20 segments arranged in a 180° circular sweep. The first segment is not active, meaning it's always on no matter what the coolant temperature. The next 19 segments are the active segments that will progressively light up to indicate increasing coolant temperature.
Since this gauge has more resolution (more segments) I designed the AP2 module with a lower temperature limit of about 110°F (when used in an S2000), which corresponds to an ECT sensor voltage of 1.944 volts. As with the AP1 module, higher temperatures are indicated by lower voltages, so this module can display temperatures of 110° or above (on an S2000).
