I got this cruise control block off plate but its diffrent than the other one i had, i got one thats solid and just a plug like this but this one has a vented half side that has a hose that goes some where and a place that looks like its recives a plug. I was told by the seller it might be for the a.c but how would that hook up?

Just a guess. If using a JDM fog light instead of cruise, you would run wiring through tube.?.?

Is it possible that this is an indoor air-filter sensor of some kind? I can't think of any other reason for both a tube and vents. It will be interesting to see what it really is!

Man this is wierd, its from a ITR of some kind but this is the thing i have a jdm ITR cruise control block off just like this but the back of it dont have all that and its a solid piece, just a plug, this is the same except half has a vented side that gets air from the tube, now looking closly inside i can see a sensor of some kind, something like a probe to sensor the air coming through, but the only thing i can think of is this gets air fed into it some how and vents into the cabin, now my guess is it would be proper for the air to come from a filtered source like the a.c system or intake arm. And that its a air sensor? or connected to the a.c system.

What the hell is this??

On a funny side note it be funny to have a pepper spray source spray a would be thieve right in the eye like blow!! if he or she attempted to steall the car, it would be connected to the alarm system or something hahaha!! f u thieves! but pepper spray on my ITR seats

Any way i know theres a guy with a ITR with this on so where you at dude?

Its probably some type of interior air temp sensor or humitiy sensor. Some higher end toyotas have it as well here state side. If detects moisture it will open the recirc door to let in drier air for outside and not let the air box get moldy. Just a guess though

I was told its a hand warmer from the rhd ITR, connects to a port somewhere, i think im just gonna tap a fitting into the air box next the gauge cluster where it vents on the driver side and connect the tube in the fitting that way it will blow hot or cold air through the lil vent as well, i guess its the only function i can utilize.

it's most likely not from an ITR. it looks like it would be part of an automatic climate control as seen on other vehicles.

Don't mean to sound ignorant but was there an auto climate system offered in JDM Hondas or am I missing something?

Integra SiR-G. You would need a lot of extra stuff such as sensors and wiring. Not sure if you need the heater core too.

God forbid one of those sensors ever go bad.

I think ill just plumb it into the air duct and make it a lil extra vent for cold or hot air. And its not from another car cause my other one is in the same shape and mold almost minus a few lil difrences like the half vent with exit tube and the two probes in the back for a sensor plug. maybe it was from a rhd sir.
