Default Custom intake,How can i adapt an IAC valve

soo i have a custom intake manifold. its looks kinda like the round venom manifolds.

so heres my issue. my rpms surge from 1200 to 1700 rpm when i have my foot lightly on the pedal, i was told it was cuz i dont have an IAC hooked up. but my intake manifold doesnt have a location for it. is there anyway i could adapt one?

thanks for all your input guys.

The easiest way wound be to disable iacv in the ecu without doing modifications to the manifold. I ran a mustang tb with no iacv.

That would be the easiest way...

I had this happen on my SOHC manifold a long time ago....we got a block of aluminum curved it to match IM then tig welded it to it....then drilled one hole straight thru to manifold ( cant do this on the car needs to be taken off) and the other we made exit out the side of the block and ran a hose pre TB. YOu have to thread two holes so you can bolt IACV it to the adapter.

Its a PIA best bet might be just get a new manifold.

Yea that would be much easier if they sell some type of adapter where you can mount it on firewall and just run hoses...i had the manifold off at the time and we decided to make a block adapter....If T1 sells a adapter that would be youre best bet

I have a remote IACV adaptor that I mounted to the firewall under my intake, then welded a -8 bung to both the charge pipe in front of the tb and one to the intake manifold and connected it. Worked really well. I had the adapter cut out on a water-jet.
