Default Replacing a dashboard

I recently bought my ej1 & i was planning replacing the dash because its missing the climate control , glove box is outta place , cracked a little & the owner before me changed the interior to black so the vin isn't on the dash i currently have . I was wondering if it'd just be easier to just replace the whole dashboard or just try to fix my dash ? & How hard is it to take out the dash & put another one in ?

Replace the dash.

I've never played with a EG dash, but it can't be that hard....

I reccomend haveing a buddy or 2 there, helps with removing the dash.

Would you have to find an EG dash, or would an Integra dash fit it too?
(since they ride on the same platform)
I can't imagine too many people are out there ripping dash's out of wrecked Teg's....might make finding a dash easier than looking for an EG or cutting off your lower arm to pay for a new one from Honda

Integra dash will fit with modifications. Quite a few of them.

Including the door pannels.

Not very difficult. If you have done a lot of work to cars its actually easy.
Some people have a hard time finding all of the fasteners. The one bolt that many people can't find is behind the big vent (remove it) on the top of the dash.

Make sure the wheels are perfectly straight when you pull the steering wheel and cable reel. When you pull out the cable reel DON'T SPIN IT! Tape it in the position it's in for easy re-installation.

Sucks, I documented the entire process with 50+/- pics and intended to do a tutorial, but all the pics need to be re-sized which is a PITA on Photobucket.
