lost my audio code to my honda civic 2011
Hello i was wondering if any1 could give me the audio code to my honda civic. the battery died and it reprogrammed the audio code. the serial number to the device is 40063101. thanks
call your local honda parts department and they should give it to you. theres some website that you can do this on but i dont know it, maybe someone on here has saved it.
It will be in 1 of 3 places. Open your glove box and there should be a sticker with on the side of it. 2 is under the cover of your fuse panel. 3 inside of your owners manual
Turn key to ON position
Turn radio off
Hold 1 and 6 buttons down
While holding 1 & 6, click radio power button back on
Write down the 8 numbers displayed on screen and call the dealer.

**** you not, this just happend to my 08 si after replacing the battery. Code is on a sticker on the side of the glove compartment. Phuckin dealership extorting $150 for nothing. Bastards!
150$ wtf? we do these for free since it takes all of 2 mins, we charge for the older cars where the radio has to be removed to get the code from the sticker on the actual radio, and even then we charge 50$

For people where dealers are trying jew you out of money to do the simplest ****ing thing possible, try calling AHM directly for help or to complain.
I used to give codes out but it was getting out with like 10 goddamn trial users a day losing their code, plus I could technically get in trouble for doing it.

When I got my Civic I didn't have the radio code either. I got the serial number and called Pacific Honda in San Diego and they told me that they couldn't give me the radio code. Instead I had to call this 1-800 number that they gave me to get the code.
They are dumb lazy *****, that's not opinion, that's fact.

I think Honda now has a personal website you can store your radio and key codes online. I am not too comfortable with the key code part because of the possibility of the site being hacked, but the radio code probably is not too big a risk.
I have the same problem, changed the battery of my 2002 Civic EX and now it's giving me CODE on the radio. Since it was a salvaged title I don't have it. Dealer in my country charges aprox. 130 dl and that is insane. I would really appreciate help.

Haha sorry man. Honda is usually really good about leaving the radio code stickers on. I've seen them in those 3 places. Mostly on the side of the glove box or under the engine compartment fuse box.
Jesus ******* Christ! Trial users constantly bringing back old *** threads! https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-2006-2015-79/all-radio-code-inquires-3117168/ Call a damn dealer or AHM!
