No ground to ac system
Hi all! My first post.
Ive been using the search function for a while but couldnt find the answer to my problem.
A few days ago, condenser fan fails to run in sync with the compressor.Sometimes its working perfectly. Today, fan and compressor wont run, same rpm. relays and fuse are ok. If i run a jumper wire on the relay terminals, clutch would engage, fan wont run,low idle. Jumper wires on the relay terminal for fan, its running strong. I checked for power on relay terminals using a light tester, 2 points are energized. Checked for ground on relay terminals( tester connected to + of battery) no light coming from trigger circuit of relay.
Somebody mentioned about ground to ECU. Is it a common problem on civics? Ive read on another thread testing the pins but details were not enough. Can somebody guide me on how I can fix this problem? tnx in advance.

Sorry, I forgot to include the car details in the first post.
Car is a 1996 civic lxi, manual trans. D15B engine. 518,000 km.
Today i went to a shop to get a scan. They could not find the scanner connector port. I dont know also. I never had a computer scan before.

So after a few days of reading and searching, i have found one thread that is very identical to mine. In the trouble shooting guide, it says replace "thermostat". So im going to buy one and hope this will fix the problem. I have one problem though. I am in Saudi Arabia and the car parts seller cannot understand english nor read the catalogue. I have to show them a sample or a picture or a part no. Its been more than a week without a/c and I will be very thankful if you guys could help me out. Any picture or part number for a/c thermostat of 96 civic? I wanted to buy the part before I go to the shop to replace the thermostat. tnx again.
