i dont think he noticed you were standing on the car... i didnt notice it at first, or maybe he is just like 4 foot 2. Im 6 foot 2.

Suspension Techniques lowering springs with stock shocks. I bought them used from a friend, so i can't give you exact specs. I measured the wheel gap difference between the stock springs and the new ones. The difference was about 2 inches up front, and about 1.5 inches in the rear.

So anyone have problems tearing into standing water like that?
I did it once and only once, way back. Splash sheild tore off.

In a parking lot my dealership rents to keep new cars we have a huge puddle that accumulates every time it rains. The water is about 12-15" deep. The property is big enough where you can really get moving, so I took a new CRV through one of these puddles at about 40-50mph. The splash it made was insane. Water went up over the top of the CRV like i was submerged in water.
