Default 1997 accord - replaced both front wheel bearings, brake pads / rotors and STILL noise

i have had it with this damn car - i got it in return for fixing someone else's car and it has been nothing but problems. it took us long enough to get the damn hub off with a slide hammer, then we replaced the bearings (although we did get some cheapo bearings .. duralast lol) and now the humming is louder than ever! it occurs after about 15mph. what the hell is wrong with this car? i used a press to get them in.

I say redo it. Should be no humming noise afterwards. New parts can be defect as well.

Have someone go on a test drive with you and sit in the back seat.dont forget theres wheel bearings in the rear also...

Could also be tires. Rotate the tires front to rear

did a second drive around and it's definitely coming from the rear passenger side. hope i dont end up replacing all four bearings :\ is rear easier than the front? would you guys say it's safe to drive until the weekend? its a pretty loud grind/hum, almost like there's another engine in back making the noise

As long as there's no play in the wheel bearing/hub then you should be fine til the weekend.

(patting my back) it should actually be easier due to not having an axle to remove.
Is it drum or disk rear? Disk easy
Drum can kick ur assz if you dont know how to do drum brakes

I just jacked both the front and back up, no play in either wheel although there is a slightly audible grinding type noise when I spin the back wheel. I'm assuming the bearing is bad

my dad took the hub/bearing off, cleaned it and now the noise is completely gone! car has 149k miles on it btw, hopefully it stays quiet now the car was sitting for a while before it was sold so maybe that has something to do with it
