Hit a Bump and car won't Start*
So I was driving my 96 GSR and hit a large bump in the road and the engine staled.. I have fuel but no spark so I went to replace the dizzy I came into some issues with finding the right one. Theres two plugs coming off the dizzy and every 96 dizzy obd2 has one plug, which then i ordered a 94-95 dizzy and the bolt pattern didn't match my head! I even tried to swap **** over but no thanks.. Im looking for a obd2 dizzy with obd1 plugs? Some one point me out of more headaches :/
Just swap out the internals, it really isn't hard. Once you take one apart you can tear 'em down and put em back together like it's your job. Trust me.
well its likely you have a 95 gsr rather then a 96. the two plugs indicates you have a obd1 dizzy. the other reason where the bolts are lining up is probably b/c you purchased a non vtec obd1 dizzy.
