okay so ive bought a complete 1996 jdm gsr swap. The shock tower harnesses plug right in after i rerouted them underneth my intake manifold. my question is, since my car is obd1 and this engine is obd2 will i need to rewire my alt,dizzy and injectors.everything plugs in that i have and i have a p72 that also plugs in but the car wont start, how do i prove if the ecu i have is obd1 or obd2. or should i just buy the obd1 to obd2a conversion harness?

I'm confused if the ECU plugs in then it is OBD1. The car isn't cranking or the car won't start? If it cranks but no start then check if you have spark and fuel.

okay, so obd1 harness' will not plug into obd2 ecus? and yes the car cranks with no start
