Just a quick question because I'm not familiar with these emission rules. But as the title says.. will I be able to pass smog with an obd2 gsr swap in my 00 si??. Motor is stock just an aem intake.. and skunk2 IM but stock throttle body. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Are you doing emmissions in California? Do you have any check engine lights? Basically need a little more information to answer your question.

 

no check engine lights.. and yes in cali.

 

No, it will not pass smog. Smog techs will direct you to the nearest BAR Ref to get the motor certified for that chassis.

 

if u have a good cat and everything is hooked up correctly, and its a stock swap with carb (ish) parts, u will be fine 99.9% of smog techs know absolutely nothing about hondas, they will have ZERO idea anything is out of place. I smogged a semi built h22 in a hatch as a d15b. it passed fine, the tech had no idea it was a swap. just make sure u use carb parts or oem. All honda b, d, h and f series engine all have very close smog parameters if its a healthy engine ill be 100% fine!
