96 Civic EX

I have seen a fan switch that turns on the fan 15 degrees sooner than stock switch, is that bad for a stock engine?

 

I doesn't really matter. Some people wire the fan up so that it turns on as soon as you switch on the ignition. I would leave it wired to the temp/fan switch how honda intended. There is no gain or loss doing it any other way.
