They are the same, except the 01 is 3+ years newer. 94

What year was the additional crossmember added? (The one under the rear seat for increased side impact protection.)

If you mean the "gussets", [left right and center] that was in 97 I think.

There are "some" diff. leather was an option in 98 and standard in 01, the exhaust manifold/down pipe/cat are also diff. if I remember right. 94

2000 and up have build-in immobilizers in the keys (good for security, bad if you lose a key)

Vogue silver metallic was added as a color option.

I mean the large bar under the rear seat. I know that the 94 doesn't have it, but Idon't know what year it was added.

It was the 00-01 exhaust that is different. That's why some headers are listed as GSR 94-99 only.

I can't believe I forgot the immobilizer addition in 00. That's honestly the only reason I still have mine.

IMO you're just shooting yourself in the foot if you constrain to a particular year. I'd focus only on the condition the car is in and get whatever year you can find.

There are no differences in the model years that are worth passing on a good car, IMHO.

I have one. < 90k miles too.
$10k and I'll consider letting it go.

They're out there, just expect to either pay a lot, or to find one with the illegal JDM front and other various ricer mods...

The only real difference that i care about between any integra 94-01 would be
1) Decide which trim you want (LS, GSR, Type R, etc.)
2) Decide whether I want to have my hatch open latch by the gas tank latch (94-97) Or a latch to open from the rear hatch (98-01)
3) Decide if you want an Immobilizer or not (00-01)(Keys are more expensive w/ slight added security)
4) [optional - Color of the car] but i dont really care, ive seen so many integra's and i think they can look good in any color if modded right.

Other than that, the most important thing of all that you should really be looking for should be the condition of the car and the condition of the motor unless you were planning on fixing all problems you find.

Yep, when I bought my 00' GSR, it took nearly 1 year to find the right one. Drove 4 hours to get it. Well worth it imo.
just under 40k miles w/ all records, clean title, 9/10 body and was nearly stock.
Got it for a decent price as well

yeah i wouldn't get to fixed up on the year if you already know you want 98-01. Just look for a clean one as you begin to search you'll see you might not have the luxury of choosing a particular year because they're not a lot of really clean gsr's out there.

I have a 98 love it, black cloth seats are where its at.
