don't really know what's going on have had the car for a year now and it only does this when it's cold out like 32 degrees out or colder.. the car will turn over but doesn't seem to get that uuummmph to start and if you don't get it started on the one and only try it won't start for damn near the rest of the day...somedays you don't even get a chance it just won't start just turns over...what could be causing this
well just changed spark plugs wires are still good and cap and rotor about a week ago and the car gets a good spark tested all that too...and yes it sure is a technical term..

basically if you try to start it on a cold day you get one shot at it starting or maybe not even at all....it will turn over and turn over until it kills the battery but it just won't fire up... almost like it may not be getting enough fuel or something but i do know it is getting fuel just not sure if it's enough..make any sense?
OH NO one of these deals. I had worked on a geo storm that had this problem. It wouldnt start at all it would just crank and crank, but if you push started it it would start up after a few tries. Never figured it out man sorry but im out of ideas hopefully someone else can enlighten you.
would the main relay possibly be bad causing this to happen? cause looking it up when they go bad it sounds like all the symptoms my car is having but it says this happens due to HOT weather.? any suggestions?
listen closely to the main relay. As soon as you turn the key into the on position you should hear 3 clicks. You can also hear the fuel pump priming for a couple seconds. Listen for this....
Could be a possibility if you have another one i would try swapping it in. Or you can re solder it i guess. I dont know how this is done but people recommend it all the time cause its cheaper.
