92 Civic LX 5-speed -- Vaccum Leak?

Icon2 92 Civic LX 5-speed -- Vaccum Leak?

Well cleaned my IACV yesterday cause it was idle at 300-500 now since i clean it and it idles at 1500-1800. And I made sure i made sure i tighted it very well and i having a feeling its a vaccum leak but can find it! My car is a 1992 Civic LX D15B7 OBD1 5 speed

Take a good look at your IAC valve and that area. Make sure you put everything back on the right way and that you didn't knock off a vacuum line somewhere.

Well im pretty sure i didnt I just took out the two blots to remove it and the 2 hose lines but i clicked the line back on!

Pretty sure isn't 100% Get in there and make sure everything in that area is connected.

Did you make sure the IACV gasket didn't fall out? It looks like a little figure 8.

spray some brake or carb cleaner on the seams of the iacv to find a vacuum leak. If you spray the cleaner on a vacuum leak the idle will go down for a quick second and go back up. You might need to seal it. Also fot the hoses put vasoline inside them and slide them back on. it will help make a better seal.
