I have a 1995 del sol si, white in color.

i have some Ls Meshies that i'd like to paint.

So I'd like some opinions, what color wheels look good on a white del sol?

flat black with some spacers should make em look pretty decent (or to help keep it a mild oemish looking, go gunmetal)

just make sure to properly paint em so you dont have problems with them chipping later on down the road

 

get different wheels. imho ls mesh should be left the way they are. if you do get different wheels for the sol, white on white always look good

 

the only reason for the meshies is because i got a really good deal on them. or else i wouldnt want them. but, they are the best looking oem wheel in my opinion. i considered black, gunmetal, and white. but not sure if white on white would look cheap? or if black will make them look smaller.

 

Yeah, LS wheels aren't the best compliment for the dS. But if you already have 'em I'd go black. White will be all blindingly consistent- too much. Gunmetal/pewter is too 'tweener and won't match $#!+, but a gloss black will be just enough to contrast/break it up and give it a mean look (maybe with a silver lip too).

P.S. LS meshies don't compare to the VX/HXs as far as stock look goes though.

ahh forgot about the hx wheels haha. i like those. but yeah, i think black would look best in this situation. im not a big fan of leaving a lip though

id keep them stock till you find some non oem rims then look for flat black rims on red lugs
