Icon2 unknown smell

i recently put in my skunk2 stage 1 tuner series cams on my gsr. everything went perfect on the install. i gave it a full 1.5 break in period where i did not hit vtec once. after that i would step on it and everything is good. however recenlty when i do hit vtec there is a smell comming out the engine. i cannot identify it and wonder if its anything bad. i have checked oil levels and coolant levels almost daily since it is my dd. the temp guage never moves as well and is always at a proper spot. im assuming it is just more burnt oil since the cams are not oem.. has anyone had this similar issue or smell? and is it anything i should be worried about?

Did you use assembly lube on the cams, or heavy weight oil on them when you put them in?

Hard to imagine. Post a smell sample!
It could be anything - from a rubber washer laying on your header to a lean mixture due to more aggressive cams.
