Got an interesting question real quick; theres a dude selling a cable LS B18A1 tranny which I need for an EF; but he said the 3rd gear is gone, and we have a cracked casing hydro B18B1 LS tranny sitting here, anyone know if I can take the 3rd gear, or maybe the whole gearset from the hydro and put it into the cable tranny casing???

And I've never taken apart a tranny, so i'm looking forward to this interesting experience lol

 

it all depends what cable trans it is. Large spline or small spline.

you can put hydro internals in the large spline ys1 cable transmission.

 

i think 92-93 cable tranny are the ones that have the large spline and 90-91 have smal spine

 

hmm, idk what year the tranny is, our B1 is a 95. the cable tranny is an LS B18A1
