My honda rebuild
ok so awhile ago i traded my 93 thumderbird for a crashed 95 civic coupe the frame was ****ed but the engine still ran an the interior was great..... so instead of spending so much money to fix the frame i decided to rebuild my own honda... so my homeboy gave me a frame for a 95 civic ex coupe.. it had no door no engine no interior no nt just frame...and the bad thing was it was an auto frame.... so wut it came down to was i was gonnna do my first conversion and rebuild... so i droped the engine in it did the interior an rebuilt the whole car....im still making changes to it but this is wut has happened so far.... tell me wut u think
Remember you said that in a public forum.
Looks OK I suppose, seems drive-able from what little I can tell.
Flat black is not my cup-of-tea, neither are the rims.
As long as you're happy with it, who cares what others think anyway.
Yeah, and there are far too many "build" threads in this section the past couple years IMO.

Thanks man
You don't want my real opinion.
Also, when you post a build thread and someone asks you what you plan on doing next, if the answer is "I don't know" then it's NOT a build thread.
You posted in a public forum, that means the public is going to see it, and the PUBLIC can commet on it.
Not everyone is going to like your car, people are going to hate your car, and people are going to talk **** about it. This is called having an opinon. EVERYONE has one.
Honestly, if you can't take what people have to say, then don't post.
Also, if you want to come here and say this, atleast spell correctly, hell, some grammer wouldn't hurt either.
I don't like your car, it's not my style. BUT, if you like it, then that is what matters.
Here's a tip. Don't post up your car in a public forum, ask people "what do you think?" and get mad and start name calling because all the comments are not all positive.

But I'm using brand new or mint rare OEM honda parts. I'm doing mine the right way............ Bastards.
LOLOL this kid is mad! dude this is not a build thread ur car looks like rice on the inside flat black primer looks like S*it egay steering wheel and some what are those 17's?
Is it just me or does the motor look slightly canted over to the drivers side? BTW OP, I'll definitely give you props for being new to Honda's and jumping in with an engine swap and an auto to manual conversion at the same time.
that was my first engine swap i ever did on a honda. d15b7 auto to d16z6 manual. was fun.
it will, because if you compare the auto bracket to the manual one on the frame. the auto one angles up, while the manual one is straight across. thats why you can buy the auto 2 manual mount for the transmission, and its 5/8" longer to accomodate this.
huh. I never knew that.
if you look at the 2 pictures

note, that in the second picture (the auto tranny) the bracket on the passenger side of the frame, is pointed upwards. that is what is making his engine not sit level.
