O2 Sensor Questions(purchasing)
On my girlfriends brothers honda civic, he gave up on fixing his o2 sensor on his civic due to he blew a fuse ( he is not mechanically inclined and decided to hand the project off to me). I am a carb guy so i do not know all the ins and outs of 02 sensors.
When the code was read it said it was not getting a reading from bank one sensor. I read online how to test the sensor, and i will check it to make sure the sensor is bad. If it is bad, and the sensor needs replaced, where is a good site to purchase a sensor from. At Advance Auto parts, they said the sensor would be $270. Really steep for his pocket and if he can find a deal that would be great. Can any one point me in the right direction?

I would suggest heading to www.rockauto.com and picking up an OEM replacement.
I purchased Bosch Premium O2 sensor. Yea, I didn't have to cut and solder wires which would have been a pain in the butt. $50. I used coupon codes for advance auto only paid $34 for mine.
yeah DENSO oem from autozone is under 100 dollars get that one never use bosch on a honda. either NTK or DENSO.in fact when autozone didn't get my denso sensor on time they offered me the more expensive bosch one at no extra cost i said hell no i want my denso.
