hello honda-tech got a question for u guys, i have a 99 d15b with the 2 stage vtec. the engine is jdm and its realy slow on take off like from 1000 to vtec kicks, i have both solenoids wired up toghether because dont have the ecu for this engine. now i have a d16z6 but the bottom needs a rebuild, now can i put the z6 head in the d15b block?

use a gsr ecu from 92-95 reprogram it to use the itb butterfly solenoid to activate the 2nd vtec solenoid. or use a jumper harness obd1-obd2 so you can use the correct ecu.

 

ok so if that can be done what seal can i use?
