What do u guys think of a fzr600 as a beginner bike.... i've gotten mixed opinions about whether i should start on a 250 or 600... most of the people i run into, that are riders say that i should start off with a 600 because if i start with a 250 and move up to a 600 the handling is totally different and all i really have to do is respect the bike and it'll respect me.... now i jus wanna hear from u guys...

 

I am a beginner as well, took the MSF, and ended up getting a GSXR-600. I also considered the YZF. I already have 282 miles on a bike that I got this past monday. It is very powerful, but you need to respect it.

 

try a 500. It'll get you through the 1/4 in around 13 and up to 60 in under 4. That's assuming a pretty new rider. Not as fast as a 600 but plenty for a beginner and pretty damn cheap. Much cheaper insurance as well.
