I can find the specs on the type E on the alpine page, and from looking at that, it's not bad at all. xmax = 11.7 mm, 200 rms watts
From the reviews on the alpine type S and type R, I think alpine subs aren't bad at all.
but i really want to listen to ppl who have them/listen to them and their opinions.
I went to the store, but they didn't have the subs on display.

a type e is the same as a type s. they were made for circuit city only. i like the sound of them.
