Default Rescaling map for new MAP sensor without retune? Neptune

I have a 10.1psi spring in my wastegate currently and since its been colder lately, I've been hitting boost cut (stock MAP sensor). I'm planning on buying a new one that reads higher, and was wondering if the map can just be rescaled without re-tuning the car. My tuner is 6 hours away so I was hoping he could rescale it and send me the new map that I'll just burn to a chip.

Thanks!

It matters how close the map scaling is and how close the map sensors are. If you are going to a 3 bar, you will need to retune. 2.5 and 4 bars are not that far off. You should retune (at least check it).

You'll need to adjust, not retune, if you have the correct scalar and offset entered for the new sensor.
