2002 accord insidelights stay on
I was asking as sometimes a radio or security system install can cause issues.....
Are the lights you are talking about, they are the ones on the dash?
Or are the actual brake lights on (at the back), lights in the door?.....I get the battery light

no becuz the battery still provides power to the inside of the car. i had a 1990 nissan stanza gxe 2.4 soch and my alt. when bad. everything still powered up. as long as your batter is connected you should have power to everything!
Car is now completely dead. Wont start at all. Power windows and locks all work but car wont crank. Weak battery it sounds like. Can someone confirm that this is not an alternator problem?

Until ur battery dies that is right?

Voltage across the battery when the car is running should be 14.4V, that will show you the alternator is charging the battery.
I'd try swapping out the battery to get the car started then check the voltage across it after you are up and running.
Interior lights being on could be a faulty door switch/trigger.
