transmission/clutch problem, need help!
Wrong section I know. I'm looking for fast answers, sorry.

Ok, so here's the deal. Last night I'm driving. I believe in 4th gear at 3k rpms when suddenly I hear a loud noise, sounded like something fell and started dragging, so I pull over and go to put the car in neutral, let go of the pedal and the car stalls. So i then look under the car for any leaking fluid or anything that might have fallen off. There's nothing on the ground, so I get back in the car, foot on the clutch, I turn the car on. Put it in 1st, give it gas to take off, but car doesn't move, once i take my foot off the clutch the car stalls whether I'm giving it gas or it being in neutral. Had to get towed home, and while being towed it was very noisy kind of like there was "stuff spinning inside the transmission?" I'm not sure what the problem could be, if anyone could help me out. It would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Mike.
