so i just recently bought a da from my buddy im trying to learn the in's and out's of it and i had a question about a black box on the firewall next to the fuse box. ive searched and searched and searched and found nothing can someone please educate this honda/acura challenged mind on what the hell it is lol

there is a black box right by my fusebox its on the firewall

 

i well try and go take a pic of it

 

is there hoses going to it? and pics would help

 

yes there hoses going to it i think its somthing with my vaccum now that i took a better look at it but just to be sure i well put some pics up

 

its too dark for pictures right now... damn

 

thats called a charcoal canister.

Its for excess gas and emissions.
