Default donut's eh3/eg hatch build thread

what's up ht? so i decided to finally start posting work that ive done, and will be doing to my hatch..

so i got this hatch back in 2010 on Sept 11. i didnt know very much about honda's so when i got it, i thought it was an si. after doing some reasearch about si's and realizing it didnt have the right motor in it.. i suspected... turns out its a cx.. converted into an si.. but to me it will always be an si.. hardly care for what people say about it..

so anyways.. this is where it was at when i got it..

rims are xxr 513's front 16x7 +15 offset rear 16x8 0 offset
dont remember tire size but they rubbed alot..
so i got some 205/40/16 tires to fix that.. drove alot better... no more rubbing..

few things were wrong with the car when i got it... axle was going out... and so was the tranny...

so i changed the axle... tranny i STILL have not got to.. but i want to drop the d so i will wait for that..

i built a custom box for some shitty lil subwoofers i got..

also installed a short shifter..

then did my brakes..

after a while my tires started to wear out..... QUICK!
and then this happened...

so i got some new nexxen tires.. same size... but were still too big... didnt like em at all.....

anyways... had to get an alignment so it wouldnt happen to me again..

but then i decided to trade off the wheels...

and so i started to research auto body and paint alot.. and wanted to try it... so i tried my hood.... for practice.. since its dented the hell up and looked like **** anyways.. this is what happened..

and it stayed that way for a while..

it is black again as well as one of the fenders... but ive been lazy to make it look good.. i will fix it.. and paint the other fender and front bumper... and some ugly *** tag that was scratched on my driver door... ********..

was cleaning out my interior... and this happened... the nut where the hatch strut goes bolted on.. broke loose.. had to drill the spot weld and get that **** welded on again..

dont have any after pictures..

then started polishing my vc..

shaved the letters.. not finished yet..

and also my si wheels.. well.. just one for now... takes lots of time.. to do it right..

once i started sanding.. didnt feel like taking pictures..

just needs polish and clear coat..

UPDATE:10/29/09
so i lowered my car... finally... but... found out one of my rear shocks is blown... will be replacing both rears soon.. with same.. tokico blues..

went from this..

to this...

alot better i.m.o

and also got a hood bra.. i like it alot.. since you can no longer see the stupid dents.. but i still need a new hood.. as well as paint but it will come soon!

and this is what my engine bay looks like as of now.. i might be getting a d15b soon wich has more power than mine.. and has a good tranny.. for a good price so i will clean up my bay and probably paint it

So someone went through the trouble of putting a Si OEM sunroof on your CX chasis? I don't think so. It seems someone put a CX motor into a stripped Si shell.

You should of had power steering, power mirrors, cruise control, rear side panel speakers, rear disc brakes, and black with white pinstripe seats and matching door panels.
