193,000 miles. Replaced left axle(shaft) 16 days before the right axle broke. The photos(right axle) are in a album under my profile if interested in viewing. You will see where it had been rusting under the dynamic damper.

 

Okay? What's the point of this thread? The same thing happened on my Integra, the OEM axles broke under the rubber damper.

 

Why do they break? What years, models, etc? The point is to gather information.

Clean your axles more often.

I was just being sarcastic, iv never had an axle fail in that way. But 193,000 on salty roads was probably the culprit.
