i have a 97 integra and i need a muffler asap, i searched the FAQ and all i found was exhaust opinions and axleback opinions. i have gone to craigslist, searched this site a million times, jcwhitney.com, jegs.com, summitracing, all universal crap, i want an RSR exmag, or flowmaster, or apex, anything that has both the inlet and outlet on the driver side of the muffler just like the stock one. i have been searching for the past 5-6 hours, thanks for any help and/or links

i googled forever too, i found random universal mufflers but nothing integra specific where the inlet and outlet were both offset on the driver side

IMO the vibrant universal mufflers are the nicest. But your preferences might be different than mine. They are all universal, and you can get them in ss polished, or "chrome" as most people call it.

You can order just an apexi ws2, ws noir, or n1 universal muffler from some of our sponsors. I just had some of them quote me for it. Also check out inlinefour.com. they have a jsport muffler that they told me was comparable to the es oval exhaust.

I put a Thrush "welded" type muffler on my integra. It sounds real nice, not too loud or rappy, and really quiets down at highway speed. It cost around $30, and is readily available at most auto parts stores. I welded mine on, so I bought a 2 1/4 inch inlet and outlet muffler (smallest they make I believe) and all the adaptors and a elbow bend pipe to get the exhaust out the back. I think all together it was under 45 dollars. Good luck!

Mine was $25 and it cost $20 to weld on. Lasted a good while too, when I sold the car it was still fine. If you're on a budget that's much cheaper than a $100 vibrant + labor to weld it on
I normally get random exhaust related stuff from this place. http://performance-curve.com/
Cheap mandrel bends as well.

The Thrush Turbo muffler is a little more of a performance robber, because the exhaust loops through, where the welded goes straight out. The turbo will sound rappier than the welded. The welded is not loud by any means, and dosent sound like a fart can.
