1992 civic dx wont start
i have a 1992 civic dx, my dizzy went out so i bought a new one.
with the old one the engine just cranks over a lot of times but with the new one
it cranks the engine like twice and just stops like its stuck or something. Its happened
with 2 re-manufactured distributors already and now i dont know what to do.
does anyone know what it might be?

Sound like the battery is low. Test it and charge/replace if needed.
Is CEL code 9 still thrown after resetting ECU and cranking the engine?
Does the fuel pump prime?
Is there bright white spark at all 4 spark plugs?

Agree with the starter and distributor being separate issues, however wanted to throw out there that if your "new" distributor is aftermarket it may be the reason for no spark. See it all the time at work, with Honda I only use OEM if at all possible even if you have to find a used one. I went through 3 Car Quest ones (where we get our parts at my shop) last time before I got a good one! Either way good luck man!
